Science in Year 6

This week in Year 6 we have been learning about the transport of nutrients within the body in our Science lessons. We measured out the length of the small intestine and couldn’t believe it was seven metres long in an adult’s body! We also drew comic strips to show how nutrients are absorbed for energy.

This Week in Year 4

Year 4 have continued to enjoy Herefordshire Crickets- Chance to Shine programme this week. We have been working on our bowling and batting skills. Alongside we are investigating how different glues work in preparation for making paper sculptures.  A very sticky end to the week.

Year 2 have been testing the suitability of materials. Our experiment was to see which material would bounce the most and why. We found the bouncy ball to be the bounciest as it’s made from rubber which is a strong, stable but squashable material.
