Magnetism in Year 4

In Year 4 this week we have been investigating magnetism. We made predictions about what in our classroom was magnetic or non-magnetic and then we tested lots of objects. We were surprised at first about how many metallic objects were not magnetic but we soon worked out that not all of them are magnetic because they don’t contain nickel, cobalt or iron.
