Remembrance Day 2020

The pupils across the whole school have created a beautiful waterfall of poppies for our Remembrance of WWI, WWII, The Falklands and more recent conflicts.  All pupils created a poppy which was then attached in our Reception Area.  

Solids, liquids and gases in Year 4

Poppies in Year 5

Harvest in Year 6

In Year 6, we have spent time celebrating the things that we are thankful for and thinking of those who are less fortunate than ourselves at harvest time. On outlines of fruits and vegetables, we wrote our thoughts which were hung up on the trees in the local church.  

‘The Lost Thing’ in Year 5

The children have been working very hard this term in English, studying a story called ‘The Lost Thing’. We have learnt it, story mapped it and then changed it to create our own versions.
