Shape in Year 6

This week in Year 6, we have had a brilliant time learning about 2D shapes and their properties. In the first lesson, we used our prior knowledge to write down everything which we already knew about their sides, angles and lines of symmetry. Then we discussed how we might group different shapes using Carroll and Venn diagrams. The individual tasks which we completed after this were challenging, particularly the ‘Always, Sometimes, Never True’ statements, but very enjoyable!
