Women and World War II in Year 6

This week in Year 6, we have been learning about the role of women within our World War II topic. First, we researched the type of jobs which women had to undertake when the men were called up for active service. After this, we wrote a diary entry as if we had just completed our first day at our new job – the jobs varied from being part of the Women’s Land Army to a munitions worker.
