A Pound for Pudsey

Thank you all for your generous donations last Friday as part of our ‘Pound for Pudsey’ day. The children all looked great and we managed to raise a brilliant £565 for Children in Need!

Harvest fun

On Monday Year 3 had a great time at St Nicholas’ church exploring harvest.  We listened to the story of The sower and the seed and then took part in various harvest activities focused on giving thanks.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who made the morning fun.  We had a great time.
Art Exhibition

Year 3 and 4 classes invited parents to a pop-up art gallery today. Their families were invited to view their children’s work and even purchase some by giving a donation to the Community Larder. Cave Paintings

Year 3 have been learning about the Stone Age and how early people learned to communicate. The children were fascinated by the cave painting at Lascaux in France from approx 18,000 years ago. Our Year 3 pupils have created their own art in the style of stone age cave paintings.
