In Year 4, we have been learning about states of matter. This week, the children were given a task where they had to create an activity that helped explain the properties of a gas and their role. The children had a lot of fun planning, creating and presenting their activities to one another!

A Year 1 Spooky Skeleton

In forest school the children followed a plan to make a spooky skeleton.  They gathered sticks to represent each bone.  We talked about the job of a skeleton and named the bones feeling our own bones as we did e.g. collar bone. They did a great job! 

Painting Apples in Reception

After examining various apples and discussing their characteristics, our Reception children used watercolour paints to represent their chosen apple.  They were encouraged to look closely at the object and consider shape, colour and unique features.
