Year 1 Hapa zome

During our Forest School sessions in Year 1 the children have been using a technique called ‘hapa zome’ to create leaf prints on fabric. This involves ‘bashing’ the leaves with a hammer onto some fabric for the natural colours in the leaves to imprint onto the fabric. We have also been creating nests for birds using the natural materials we find in our Forest School.
