Nelson Mandela in Year 4

In Year 4 we have been researching Nelson Mandela as part of our Black History Month. We looked at the incredible life that he had and what he went through in order to bring peace and equality to South Africa. We created some posters and thought about how we could ‘Stand Like Nelson’.

Arthur Wharton in Year 6

Spanish in Year 6

Self Portraits in Year 2

This week Year 2 have been creating self portraits. We looked at different artists and their interpretation of a self portrait and then created our own. I am sure you can agree, they look fantastic. Well done Year 2.

Hindu Gods in Year 4

Year 4 have been learning all about Hindu Gods and their exciting stories in RE. They also had the chance to create their own Hindu God, such as this amazing piece of artwork with great, but scary, ideas. We have some amazing artists and great imaginations in our year group.
