The Stone Age in Year 3

In Year 3 we have finished our topic of the Stone Age. We had so much fun learning about how people lived during the Stone Age times and we have created our own information pages so that others can learn all about it too!

Pudsey visits Lord Scudamore

On Thursday Pudsey came to visit us at school. The children were very excited and high fived and waved to him. We then raised money for Children in Need by dressing in bright colours and spots on Friday. Thank you for all your donations and colourful clothing.

Children in Need in Year 3

To celebrate Children in Need 2022, lots of us wore bright colours, spots or Pudsey accessories! We did the Joe Wicks ‘Walk with Pudsey’ which involved a warm up via YouTube with Joe and Pudsey, and then a 1 mile walk around the school, which 3LS did with 2A. We had such a great day!

States of Matter in Year 4

In Year 4, we have been learning about states of matter. This week, the children were given a task where they had to create an activity that helped explain the properties of a gas and their role. The children had a lot of fun planning, creating and presenting their activities to one another!

PE in Nursery

This week the children have enjoyed improving their balance in PE while completing a circuit.

Year 1 Hapa zome

During our Forest School sessions in Year 1 the children have been using a technique called ‘hapa zome’ to create leaf prints on fabric.
