PSHE in Year 4

This week, Year 4 have enjoyed learning about the effects of alcohol on our bodies. We drew around each other, and labelled the effects on the; brain, oesophagus, stomach and liver. Did you know, the adult liver is about the size of a rugby ball! 

Writing Workshop in Years 3 and 4

Some of our Year 3 and 4 children have taken part in a writing workshop to develop their writing.  They joined other children from schools in Hereford to meet journalist and author William Gallagher, as he shared writing tips and create individual pieces of writing.

Performing Music in Year 3

Some of the Year 3 children have been working hard creating a performance to music that they will be performing at ‘The Courtyard’ in the summer term.  We recently had a visit from Ellen to help with our physical and mentally wellbeing.  

Stay and Play in Nursery

Nursery have had such a lovely Stay and Play week. The children loved sharing activities with their parents and showing them all the things they like doing at Nursery.

Maths in Year 1

This week in Maths, we have been practising counting in tens and recognising how many tens are in the numbers 20-50. We played a fun game where we had to throw the bean bags into two hoops, one represented tens and the other ones, and work out what number was being was thrown!

Scientific Experiments in Year 4

World Book Day in Year 1

Year 1 had a great time for World Book Day.  We made bookmarks using our words, we made a word search and we read to our perfect pets throughout the day.
