‘Safer Streets’ in Year 6

Over the last couple of weeks, the Year 6 children have been taking part in ‘Safer Streets’ sessions led by Purple Leaf and West Mercia Women’s Aid. They have learnt all about healthy and unhealthy relationships. The children have listened well and had open, informative discussions.

Science in Year 6

This week in Year 6 we have been learning about the transport of nutrients within the body in our Science lessons. We measured out the length of the small intestine and couldn’t believe it was seven metres long in an adult’s body! We also drew comic strips to show how nutrients are absorbed for energy.Â
