Art in Year 6

Year 6 having been exploring the meanings of paintings and this week we looked at Gassed by John Singer Sargent. The pupils recreated ‘The Imagine’ which allowed them to experience the human side of the imagine: being blind, supported, healed and the importance of companionship and support. 

I think you’ll agree they did a really good job of mimicking the painting!
