Forest School in Year 1

Last week in forest we were looking for signs of spring. Â We talked about deciduous and evergreen trees and some children identified trees by looking at their buds. There was also a racing car built and a hotel.
New Sports Kit for LSA

RE in Year 5

This week Year 5 have been learning all about Hajj, the Muslim pilgrimage, which is one of the 5 pillars of Islam! We worked in groups to create colourful information pages based on specific areas of the pilgrimage.Â
Adverts in Year 4

In English Year 4 have been learning all about persuasive writing. We applied all of the writing techniques we had learnt into fantastic adverts to persuade people to buy our delicious chocolate bars! The children absolutely loved doing this task and had loads of fun.Â
Light in Year 3

Year 3 have been looking at Light as part of our Science Topic. They had to create informative leaflets on how to protect yourself when out in the sun. They had to be informative and look eye-catching. They included using sun cream, sunglasses and keeping indoors at the hottest times of day.
Water Polo Tournament

On Sunday children from Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a water polo tournament at Hereford Leisure Pool. We learnt the rules and had a great time competing against other schools from the county.
