Money in Year 2

In Year 2 we have been looking at money in maths. As a class, have found out the value of each coin and added amounts of money together. The children really enjoyed working with a friend to create their own shops, selling various items and thinking about how much they would cost. We then played a game where the children had to pay for the items making sure they added the coins up correctly.  The shopkeeper had the important job of checking they had been paid the right amount.
