Due to the magnificent experience and feedback we have had from previous years, we have decided to take part in Young Voices 2017 to sing at Birmingham’s Genting Arena on Friday 27th January 2017. This is a wonderful event where our school choir will be singing in one of the largest children’s choirs in the world.
We will be leaving school on Friday 27th January around 10am and returning to school at approximately 11.30pm. Although we recognise that this is a very long day, we feel it is a great opportunity for the children and it will be a rewarding experience for them.
We are planning to transport the children by coach and this will be paid for by the school. Parents are very welcome to make their own way and support the choir at the Genting and tickets are available at £19.50 per ticket – we enclose an order form for you to order your tickets and return to the school.
Aside from the cost of the tickets you choose to order, we do ask that you purchase a Young Voices T-shirt for your child to wear on the day at a cost of £10! Please fill in the order form with the money enclosed as soon as possible. Please make cheques payable to Lord Scudamore School Fund.
In order to secure our places we need to confirm numbers with the Young Voices organisers as soon as possible. Please complete your slip confirming your consent and send it back into the school office by Friday 30th September.
