Year 2 Lambing Farm Trip

As part of their Science and Literacy topics, Year 2 have the unique opportunity to visit a local farm in order to see lambing.  The children will have the opportunity to feed young lambs, feed the mothers and older lambs and to see the little lambs in the nursery.

Small groups of children from each class will attend on the following dates:

Thursday 23rd February   Class 2A

Friday 24th February        Class 2A

Monday 27th February     Class 2S

Tuesday 28th February    Class 2F (Miss Lloyd)

Wednesday 1st March     Class 2F (Mrs Field)

Friday 3rd March              Class 2S

You will be informed of which day your child will be going.

They will leave school at 9.30am and return in time for lunch. Please ensure your child is suitably dressed, old warm clothes, wellies must be worn, gloves, and a warm coat.  It would be useful if they could bring in a pair of trainers or shoes to change into when returning back to school.  The children will need to bring a named drink.  No pocket money is needed.

The contribution for the trip is £5.00.  Please send this to the office with your completed, signed consent slip.
