World Book Day in Year 2

Year 2 celebrated World Book Day by reading and listening to lots of different stories. 

We enjoyed learning and making up actions to go with the poem ‘The Little Turtle’ by Vachel Lindsay. 

It was a busy day spent decorating our t shirts, creating a collage with our friends and making our own little turtles to take home. 

As a class we also listened to ‘Paddington’ by Michael Bond and then wrote a book review together.

We had a fantastic day and we all really enjoyed it.
