Winter in Nursery

The children have been busy exploring the changing states of water. As part of our Winter and cold lands topic, we have been looking at how water freezes when it gets cold enough and how it melts back into liquid when it warms. 

The children have loved breaking ice with hammers and searching for the places outside, where water may have frozen.
