Stone Age Toilet Roll Timelines in Year 3

In Year 3 this week we began our Stone Age topic. To try and understand how long ago this was, we rolled out some toilet paper and used it as timeline. Each sheet of toilet roll represented 1000 years, and we couldn’t believe how long ago time went back. We also talked about prehistory and how we know about the things that happened before written records began. Another interesting conversation we had was about the difference between AD and BC, and how that looked on a timeline!
