Shape in Reception

During our independent activities this week we chose to make rockets out of coloured shapes. We glued them onto the paper to turn our shapes into rockets.
We also used natural materials to make rocket shaped pictures.
The children use lots of mathematical language, including big, small, ginormous and tiny.
We made triangles, rectangles, squares and circles.
