‘Saving the Chocolate’ in Year 5

In Year 5 this week, one of things we have been learning about in Science are thermal conductors and thermal insulators. We have conducted an exciting experiment where the children were tasked with ‘Saving the Chocolate‘. They had to decide which material they thought would be the best insulator to stop the chocolate from melting, using their knowledge on properties of materials to make this decision. We will be checking back next week to see which material worked best.
