Running out of Time Relay

Today we took part in the Climate Change Relay which hopes to draw attention to climate change by involving communities from Ben Nevis to Big Ben.  They have skiied, swam, cycled, ran, walked and paddle boarded their way down to Hereford.  They were greeted by enthusiastic children who had created banners about climate change after doing some research.  They passed the baton to Poppy in year 4, (one of our eco reps).  They then raced along our sports day track with reception, held an assembly for KS2 and then interviewed the eco team about what we do as a school to protect the environment.  The baton was then collected and carried to its next location.  Check out the journey of the baton here.
