River Carnival Rower

Last week , Archie in Year 6, entered a race at the weekend with his dad on a 2 man outrigger against the 4 person rafts at the Hereford River Carnival.  He paddled stroke for stroke with his dad at 74 strokes a minute for approx. 50 minutes. Finally they came 6th over all, 2 seconds off fifth place and around 4 minutes off the winners.  He did amazingly well, his parents and the school are so proud of the effort he put in.
