Reception children had a great time celebrating Harvest. We started off by being visited by a huge tractor in the school playground. We got to have a sit inside and beep the horn. Tesco kindly donated some vegetables so that we were able to make our own vegetable soup to taste. We celebrated Harvest at a church service where we sang Harvest songs and listened to a story about an enormous turnip. To finish off our Harvest celebrations we invited our parents in to make corn dollies and vegetable people with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our first Harvest celebrations at Lord Scudamore Academy!
