Year 1 and 1GS2 had a great time at Raglan castle this week. We explore the moat, kitchen, great hall, guest tower, gate house, courtyards and the great tower. We talked about how the castle had changed lots over the years. We loved getting in some of the many fireplaces, Oliver was on guard duty in the gatehouse, We talked about what it would have been like to try and attack the castle high on the hill and we had a great imaginary banquet in the great hall (with minstrels!) A massive thank you to all of our volunteers for helping us to keep the children safe during our visit.
