Police reading stories to Reception classes

Two local police officers came into LSA on 16th March to read story books to all of the children in Reception. They read ‘Little Rabbit Foo Foo,’ and ‘The Highway Rat.’ (Both quite naughty characters!) The police officers reminded the children how important it is to read every day and even helped to supervise the children’s daily morning walk! The officers were invited into school by English Manager, Sarah Watkins, as part of the school reading strategy. The children absolutely loved listening to the stories too!
