We have been very busy in Nursery celebrating Harvest. The children learnt to tell the story of the ‘Little Red Hen’ as part of our ‘Talk for Writing’. We have been finding out about Harvest foods such as wheat and even made some delicious bread! The boys and girls had lots of fun digging vegetables in the garden and using them to make their own dishes in the mud kitchen. The week ended with the children attending a ‘Harvest Festival’ in the local church where they sang ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’ and dressed up as farmers and scarecrows.
