The NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity, delivered their Speak out, Stay safe workshops for Year 5 and 6 this week.

This was to make sure our pupils have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse. The children enjoyed the sessions plus gave very sensible and thoughtful responses to the content.

These workshops follow a nationwide programme for every primary-school-aged child in the UK and Channel Islands. With the help of their friendly mascot Buddy, the NSPCC have already presenting an assembly to the children on 27th March.

If you would like any more information about this programme including frequently asked questions, you can find it on the NSPCC website

or please speak to Mrs McColl who can provide more information.
