Moon Craters in Year 5

Year 5 began their science topic ‘Forces’ this afternoon. We had a great time investigating gravitational pull and the impact an object’s mass has on the ‘crater’ created from the force pulling it downwards. We used different spherical objects and investigated the diameter created from each. Using flour and cocoa powder, we pretended to be making craters on the moon.
