Over the last few weeks Year 2 have begun their Everyday Materials Science topic. They began by sorting recycling, talking about why different items belonged to different groups before moving on to thinking about what they were made from. They then discussed knowledge they already had and questions they would like to find the answers to.
This week they have focussed on Suitability and Properties. They worked in groups to think about why different materials are suitable for different purposes and have talked about the properties the materials have.
