Marvellous Mechanisms in Year 5

This week, in Science, Year 5 have been learning all about pulleys, levers and gears. We identified what these different mechanisms were before spotting them in everyday things around us, such as on watches, bikes and on our classroom doors.

We wanted to make some new mechanisms that would make our lives a lot easier. What do you think?
