Firework Art in Year 2

In Year 2 the children have created their own firework display for the classroom. We discovered that wax repels water! We used wax to create our firework display and then painted over the top using black to create the night sky. We are very impressed with how our firework display has turned out and we had great fun pretending to watch them. Using our experience and our firework display, we are now going to create some firework poetry.
