Class 6J Museum Trip
In Year 6, the children are beginning to investigate WW2 and the impact it had on Britain. To support this exciting topic, we have been offered an immersive school visit to the Hereford Museum Resource and Learning Centre.
This trip will offer the children an opportunity to investigate and understand what life may have been like for an evacuee child in WW2. The morning will be spent taking part in an air raid drill, spending time in an Anderson Shelter and even meeting with a fictional evacuee.
The children will be back in time for lunch as normal.
We just ask that they bring a coat, comfortable walking shoes and a suitable drink and snack.
