On Tuesday 27th June, Mrs Steele took our Eco Reps to Envirosort recycling centre to see what happens to the items that we recycle at home and school.  We watched the recycling being unloaded from the lorry, it was separated and then bailed up ready to be recycled. We did some recycling sorting ourselves and also got chance to make our own paper.  We all learnt lots.
The main messages we took from the day were to make sure recycling is clean and dry and to only put the correct things in the recycling bin. Â Much of the process at the factory involves getting rid of contaminants or unwanted items incorrectly placed in recycling bins.
