How to be eco friendly this Christmas

Christmas cards with glitter need to have the glittery side removed as this cannot be recycled. 

Wrapping paper can only be recycled if it does not return to its original shape when scrunched in to a ball with your hands.  If it goes back to its original shape it contains plastic/ foil and cannot be recycled.  The best option is brown paper!

Wasted food from Christmas Dinner can be disposed of in a compost bin.

Please use plates and cups that can be washed up rather then plastic, disposable tableware.
