In Year 5 we are writing newspapers, we have visited the Hereford Hoard and interviewed a Metal Detectorist to gather information for our write up.
Mummifying Apples in Year 5

This week we have been learning all about the process of mummification. Ancient Egyptians used to ensure successful afterlife for the dead through mummification. Year 5 really enjoyed having a go at the mummification process – but don’t worry, we did it on apples instead!
