Experimenting in Year 2

This week in Science we were looking into materials and had to design a suitable outfit for ‘Traction Man’, made from waterproof materials.  Here we are experimenting with different materials.

Yoga in Year 2

Year 2 have enjoyed learning some new yoga poses in their PE lessons. They have really perfected the ‘turtle’ pose!

Coronation Street Party

We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the Kings Coronation, culminating in a street party in the playground. We danced away to music, played games, enjoyed cakes and devoured ice creams. Monkeying around in Year 2!

This week Year 2 were surprised to find 3 mischievous monkeys had created havoc around the school. The children then had to write a letter detailing what the cheeky monkeys had done and explain when the monkeys were ready to collect from the Eco Garden. 

World Book Day in Year 2

Children in Year 1 up to Year 6 took part in Safer internet Day before the end of term. Safer internet Day encouraged celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.
