Earth and Space in Year 5

Year 5 began their Earth and Space topic this week in science. Our lesson was all about learning the different planets in our solar system and how they move relative to the sun. We explored different ways to show our learning including using fruit and veg as well as taking our learning outside. 

Reptiles in Reception

Reception had an amazing experience this week, when Roaming Reptiles paid us a visit and we got to see, stroke and hold some amazing exotic creatures. Not everyone was comfortable in the room with snakes, spiders, scorpions, lizards and a tortoise but it really was incredible to actually see these animals up close. 

British Science Week

Earthworms in Year 5

Last week, Year 5 learnt about the life cycle of Earthworms and how they benefit the environment. We completed a local survey of the different types of Earthworms and documented our findings.

Snow in Year 1

This week Year 1 have been tracking the weather. We decided to go out and experience the little snow we did get in Hereford. Catching snowflakes on our tongues was good fun!
