Small Breeds Farm in Reception

Our Reception children had SUCH a lovely day at the Small Breeds Farm, Kington. We saw lots of different varieties of owls, chickens, geese and pheasants, as well as rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, donkeys and ponies. What a fabulous day out!

UV Experiments in Year 1

As part of our British Science Week, Year 1 had lots of fun learning about UV light and experimenting which materials are the best protection against it. We even got to take our own bracelets home with beads on which change colour in the sunlight! 

Ice Man in Year 1
