Safer Internet Day
Children in Year 1 up to Year 6 took part in Safer internet Day before the end of term. Safer internet Day encouraged celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Please take a look at a snippet of what each year group got up to.
Abstract Drawings in Year 3
In Art in Year 3, we have been looking at ‘Growing Artists’ and have practised lots of skills before creating our final pieces. We looked at sketching, shading to create tone, and adding colour to our drawings and finally produced a close up, abstract picture of a flower. We hope you like them!
The Heart in Year 6

Children’s Mental Health Week
Last week was Children’s Mental Health Awareness week and Place2B have a really good link on their website for families to access. Stickman in Nursery
The children in Nursery have enjoyed reading the story Stickman. They have explored natural materials to develop skills in maths, creativity and vocabulary. They found their visit to the eco-garden really exciting and enjoyed spending the afternoon in nature.
Vets in Reception
Our Reception children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our Vets role play this week. We have been learning about the role of a vet and the different medical equipment they might use to help treat and care for our pets.

Shabbat in Year 1
In RE this week we re-enacted the beginning of a Jewish Shabbat meal. We laid the table, lit candles and had some Ribena (instead of wine) and tasted Challah bread baked by Mrs Steele. We have really enjoyed learning about Judaism and love the words Mezuzah and Synagogue.
