Castles in Year 3

This week, we have been completing our Design and Technology project! We practised constructing 3D shapes out of nets and then we used these skills, along with junk modelling, to create our own castles. We tried to personalise these with flags and other features of a castle such as drawbridges.

British Science Week in Year 3

Beebots in Year 1

Year 1 children have been learning to program Beebots. We had a go at each becoming a human Beebot and a human controller, before creating our own Beebot worlds and directing our Beebots around the map.
Forest School in Nursery

Reception enjoyed a lovely visit to the Eco Garden today, in the sunshine! Â We found lots of footprints and matched them to the woodland animals. We then worked together to build some fantastic homes for the foxes, squirrels, moles, etc. Â The children are really looking forward to next week’s Forest School session!Â
Monkeying around in Year 2!

This week Year 2 were surprised to find 3 mischievous monkeys had created havoc around the school. The children then had to write a letter detailing what the cheeky monkeys had done and explain when the monkeys were ready to collect from the Eco Garden.Â
