Conkers in Reception

Our Reception children enjoyed a lovely walk to Widemarsh Common this week, where they had great fun collecting conkers! Everyone was very sensible and well behaved during our outing which made us feel incredibly proud! 

Year 1 Visit Goodrich Castle

Goldilocks in Nursery

In Nursery this week our focus story has been Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have all enjoyed listening to the story, playing in the small world tray, painting our own bears and even making (and eating) our own 3 bear porridge.

Forest School in Year 1

Year 1 have had great fun doing forest school and their first swimming lessons.  1M explored the eco garden and had the challenge of making the tallest tower.  The children worked well as a team and had a fabulous time.  We met a lovely snail who one of the children named John! 

Shape in Nursery

This week in Nursery, we have been exploring shape. Not only are the children learning to name the shapes, but they are also learning to use language to describe the shapes. We’ve been finding shapes everywhere!
