Palaeontology in Year 3

Year 3 children became palaeontologists this week. Using their knowledge of rocks and fossils they investigated the skills needed to excavate.

Spring Beginnings in Nursery

We’ve had a lovely week back at Nursery after the Christmas holidays. All the children were pleased to see each other again and have helped to welcome our new children who have settled in brilliantly.

We have had a great time celebrating Christmas with a visit from Santa (he even brought us a gift each!), lots of singing, partying and fun.

Street Art in Year 6

In Art, this week, Year 6 have been questioning the purpose and place of street art. As part of our WW2 project in history, we combined our two subjects together to plan a drawing with an important message.

DT Project in Year 4

This week Year 4 have been working on creating Christmas Pavilions as part of their DT project. As part of this they created a whole portfolio of work documenting their design process, from initial drawing plans, to prototypes, to the final finished product they have had so much fun making these.

Sunset Calendars in Year 4

Miss Davies is so impressed with the hard work from her class in using oil pastels to create their beautiful sunset calendars!

Nativity in Reception

Nursery and Reception performed a wonderful Nativity on Wednesday, in St Nicholas Church. We are incredibly proud of the children for behaving so well and for singing so beautifully. Also, a huge thank you to parents for providing such lovely costumes! We hope you all enjoyed the performance.

Christmas Cheer in Year 2

This week some of Year 2 visited William Grange to share some Christmas cheer by singing their Christingle songs. The residents really enjoyed their singing.
