Stickman in Nursery

The children in Nursery have enjoyed reading the story Stickman. They have explored natural materials to develop skills in maths, creativity and vocabulary. They found their visit to the eco-garden really exciting and enjoyed spending the afternoon in nature.
Vets in Reception

Our Reception children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our Vets role play this week. Â We have been learning about the role of a vet and the different medical equipment they might use to help treat and care for our pets.Â

Shabbat in Year 1

In RE this week we re-enacted the beginning of a Jewish Shabbat meal. We laid the table, lit candles and had some Ribena (instead of wine) and tasted Challah bread baked by Mrs Steele. We have really enjoyed learning about Judaism and love the words Mezuzah and Synagogue.
Science in Year 2

In science we have been investigating the different conditions a plant can grow and survive in.
Instructions in Year 3

Our latest topic in English has involved looking at reading and writing instructions. This week, we finished off this topic by writing our own set of instructions on how to wash Scarlett, our school dog! The children tried so hard and we are looking forward to seeing how well these instructions work.
