Investigating Teeth in Year 3

Year 3 have been learning about teeth for science and investigating how drinks can affect them. After setting up an experiment to compare 5 different drinks they are now using their scientific skills to observe and compare. Â Some of our results have shocked the children.Â

Mummifying Apples in Year 5

This week we have been learning all about the process of mummification. Ancient Egyptians used to ensure successful afterlife for the dead through mummification. Year 5 really enjoyed having a go at the mummification process – but don’t worry, we did it on apples instead!

Year 2 Visit to William Grange

Some children from Year 2 went to William Grange for a coffee morning this week. The children baked biscuits in school and took them as gifts to the residents. They enjoyed talking with the residents and they even met a gentlemen aged 93 who used to attend Lord Scudamore!
