Year 2 Visit to William Grange

Some children from Year 2 went to William Grange for a coffee morning this week. The children baked biscuits in school and took them as gifts to the residents. They enjoyed talking with the residents and they even met a gentlemen aged 93 who used to attend Lord Scudamore!

Castles in Year 3

This week, we have been completing our Design and Technology project! We practised constructing 3D shapes out of nets and then we used these skills, along with junk modelling, to create our own castles. We tried to personalise these with flags and other features of a castle such as drawbridges.
Sewing Decorations in Year 3

In Year 3 we have been making our very own Christmas tree decorations out of fabric and thread. We have learnt how to do a running stitch, a cross stitch, and also how to appliqué! We had so much fun practising our skills, designing our decorations and then evaluating each step of the process.
