Tonight members of the eco team and Mrs Steele visited The Courtyard who currently have a herd of recycling bulls on display in the foyer.
They dropped off cans, bottle tops, 1000 crisp packets and sweet and chocolate wrappers that they had collected and sorted at school. The eco team work incredibly hard and are currently working towards their first Green Flag Award.
Through your collection of crisp packets (along with other schools and community groups) Herefordshire community school Recycling project were able to present a cheque for £1176.42 to The Born Sleeping Appeal. 2 mums who had experienced baby loss gratefully received the cheque to pass along. Please keep collecting crisp packets (not mini cheddars) as well as cans, phones, bottle tops, sweet wrappers and bras for all of our local charities.
