To celebrate an important part of the National Curriculum, which includes encouraging children to read for pleasure, we are holding a Book Fair. Many of you will have supported this event in previous years. The Lord Scudamore Book Fair arrived on Friday 11th November and will last until Wednesday 16th November.
The children will be able to visit the Fair during school with their class. They will then receive a slip to take home, which will contain details of the book they have selected, which includes the price of the book. The book will then be held until the end of the Fair for payment and collection.
The Book Fair will also take place for Reception and Year 1 children on Friday 11th after school (3.15pm to 4.00pm) in the Infants Sports Hall and then on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th for Year 2 and all Key Stage 2 children.
We do hope that you and your children can participate in the Book Fair. Every book that is sold during the Book Fair results in book credits for the school and helps to support the continual development of our school library.
