Bird Hunting in Reception

During Forest School, Reception enjoyed going on a bird hunt. We talked about the names of the birds, what they sound like and what they like to eat. Everyone then made a bird feeder using a card tube, lard and bird seed. We hung these around the garden for the birds to enjoy later! The children also had a fabulous time playing in and exploring the woodland area.
